How do I request deletion of data shared from my EUDI Wallet?

Use the contact form below or email privacy@dlbr.app with the subject “Data deletion request”. You can submit a request without a DLBR console account. If your wallet opened this page, you still need to complete and send the request here.

What information should I include?

Identify the business or service you used, the approximate date, and a transaction or session reference if you have one. Say which personal data you want deleted, or that you are requesting deletion of all data shared in that transaction. Do not send passwords, private keys, wallet exports, credential copies or identity documents through this form.

What happens after I submit a request?

Our team records the request, reviews its scope and who is responsible for the data, and arranges any identity checks needed before action. We then respond through an appropriate verified channel. A submission confirmation means your message was received; it does not mean data has been deleted.

Does DLBR or the business I used handle my request?

The business using wallet verification normally decides how your verification data is used and handles your rights request as controller. DLBR assists that business under its instructions. DLBR handles requests about personal data it controls, such as its account and business-contact records. If you are unsure who to contact, describe the service to our support team.

Why might you need to verify my identity?

Before carrying out a deletion, the responsible party must authenticate you or the request. We use appropriate existing evidence and ask only for additional information that is necessary. An email address entered in this form is not proof of identity. If further checks are needed, we will explain a suitable way to complete them.

Which GDPR rights can I ask about?

Where applicable, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal data, object to certain processing, and withdraw consent for processing based on consent. You can also complain to a supervisory authority. The rights available depend on the processing and applicable law.

When will I receive a response?

Where GDPR applies, the responsible controller must respond without undue delay and within one month of receipt. For complex or numerous requests, it may extend by up to two further months and must tell you why within the first month. Other applicable laws may set different deadlines; see our privacy notice.

Will a request remove every record immediately?

Deletion is assessed against the applicable grounds and exceptions. Some data may need to remain for legal obligations or legal claims. The response should explain what was deleted, what remains and why. Deleting gateway session data does not erase copies already held by the business, or immediately remove every backup.

DLBR in simple words

DLBR helps businesses check information from a digital identity wallet. For example, a wallet can show that someone is over 18.

The business chooses what it needs to check. DLBR blocks requests for information outside that purpose. The person approves the request in their wallet.

DLBR is being tested with selected businesses. Contact us if you want to try it or need help.
